"Who am I?  What am I doing here?" By Rev. Dr. Joel Biermann

These are big questions that eventually confront every man and woman. Usually the questions begin to nag in childhood. Aware of a wide universe and seeking to grasp his or her place within it, the child asks and wonders. The truth, of course, is that the questions do not go away with time. Perhaps the nagging can be quelled or covered with distractions and with rationalizations. But, eventually everyone must return to the questions of one’s own existence and the reason for being. These questions refuse to go away. God has the answers.

Using what God has revealed in His Word, this study will provide honest and straightforward answers to these twin questions. God does not leave us desolate, wondering who we are. He does not condemn us to grope in the dark, seeking meaning in life. Man is not left to determine his own truth or to stumble through his days without direction.  The six segments of this study will explore what God has revealed about life’s biggest questions and will shed light on the difference that knowing the answers makes for the way a man lives in the routine of life. And it does make a difference—a profound difference. The answers are waiting. God is ready to tell you not only who you are but also what you’re doing here.

10:15 -11:15 am, Sunday School Rally Day

Sunday School pre-registration forms will be going out in the mail for parents to fill out and can be returned to your child’s teacher on Rally Day. We invite any children who are turning 4 years old before September 1st  to join our Pre-school class. Welcome back all students and teachers and to Brad Eyers for taking our 3rd and 4th grade class!  Thank you Brad for stepping in. We are still in need of a teacher for our 6th grade class.  Enjoy the remainder of the summer and see you soon.  Any questions please see Diane Klekovic.
