The Lay Ministers have established the following
schedule with Pastor Rod.
Monday - Pastor's day off, and typically,
he will not be in the office.
Tuesday thru Friday - Pastor will be in the
office at 8:30am. He will normally do visits to shut-ins and those who
are hospitalized in the afternoon hours. Otherwise, he will be available
in the office.
Tuesday Evenings - Pastor will be in the
office 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm to provide more availability to our members.
Saturday - Pastor may also have time in his
office depending on the extent of the extra hours he may put in during
the week.
Emergencies - In order to provide some
private time for Pastor, if you cannot reach Pastor Rod and emergency
care is needed, you are urged to call one of the Lay Ministers and they
will be able to reach the Pastor by his cell phone. Pastor will be
informing the board if he is leaving town or going to be unavailable for
one reason or another.
Church Related Concerns - Please remember
that Pastor is caring for our spiritual needs. Concerns about the
grounds should be directed to Church Properties, education concerns to
the Board of Education, order of service to the Lay Ministers, outreach
to the Evangelism Board, financial concerns of the church to the
Treasurer or Stewardship Board, activities for the youth to the Youth
Group Leaders. If you are not sure which board should address your
concern then talk with our Executive Director. The Directors of each of
these boards are listed on the front of your Care Gram.
If you have any concerns regarding the Pastor’s
schedule please talk to the director of the Board of Lay Ministry and
they will address your concerns.
